My husband and I will be taking a local train from Albi and changing to a TGV in Toulouse to go to Paris. The time allotted to change trains is 13 minutes. Has anyone done this? I'm a little concerned that the TGV tracks may not be right next to the local train tracks and we won't know where they are and it might take a while to figure this out, perhaps more than 13 minutes. We will be carrying (rolling) 2 bags each. I know, I know, travel light but in this case, the 4 bags are absolutely necessary. If there's not really enough time then we will have to drive from Albi to Paris which should take us about 8 and half hours as opposed to 6 and half hours on the train. Any advice or information anyone can offer would be much appreciated
You could use this live tracker for departures from Toulouse

Keep an eye out for your train to Paris over the next few days so you can get an idea of the likely departure platform. Now that's no 100% guarantee it won't change on your travel day but it's unlikley and will give you a heads up.
Thirteen minutes is OK, just check the departure screens at Toulouse and make your way promptly to the platform.
Thanks very much. It sounds like I might need to go from the local train at Toulouse to inside the station where the monitors are to see which track the TGV to Paris leaves from. Does this sound right? I tried looking at the tracks on Google maps with very little luck. Also tried YouTube. I imagine that Toulouse is a very busy station. Come to think of it I don't know if there might be more than one station in Toulouse. The station we are leaving from is Toulouse-MATABIAU. Again, thanks for your help.
Matabiau is the main station in Toulouse.
