Actually the January changes should make things much simpler:

Ticket Bus-Tram was: 2.15€, becomes 2€

Ticket Métro-train-RER was: 2.15€ - 5€, changes to one price at 2.50€

RER/métro ticket to/from CDG/ORY was: 10.30€ - 16.60€, changes to 13€

You'll be able to travel anywhere in the Ile de France for only 2.50€ (other than to/from airports)

The zone 1-5 day pass price is reduced from 20.60€ to 12€ but no longer includes access to airports.

The ticket t+ will not longer be sold. Unused tickets t+ may be used until the end of 2025.

Discontinuing carnets will be a loss for some. Using the Navigo Liberté + instead is a kind of replacement but that needs a SEPA bank account.

So the metro and the bus will be different prices? Different cards needed?

The only change to the Navigo Liberté will be the inclusion of what are now paper-only tickets, the ticket origine/destination or point to point tickets (which, by the way, have nothing to do with zones). The Navigo Liberté card has already been an option for some time, nothing really new for 2025. The Navigo Liberté is a practical solution for EU tourists, which is the largest single group of tourists to France. It's probably not a factor for other tourists.

I have seen no announcements yet in reference to passes. I would expect prices to change as they do every January.

Reading this I am glad this last trip I had brought over 2 dozen Metro tickets with the price indicated while having several left over s tickets pre-pandemic to be used for Metro, bus and RER (in Paris) rides.

Those tickets will have to be used by December 31, 2025, according the the Bonjour RATP website.
