I am hoping someone can help me remember which champagne cave I visited in Reims 35 years ago. I toured more than 1 but the one I remember best has murals on the walls that were done late 1800s/early 1900s. They were in tall rooms and were kept in the dark until the tour guide turned on the light. This was done to preserve them. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I haven't been back but will be going next year and would be interested in seeing them again.
