Does anyone know where the pick up point is in Chamonix? Also, the drop off point in Geneva, is it at the airport proper or can you be dropped off at a nearby hotel?
Should I be booking the seats now?
Any opinions on chamexpress, they are my first choice at the moment.
We are doing the Alpine 12 day "my way" end of sept/oct. 2016.

I don't believe "door-to-door" includes hotels in Geneva. Its not my experience with shuttle services I have used. So with a reservation, you can specify your pick-up point in Chamonix (not a big town), but it would only take you to the airport AFAIK. From the airport, you can take the train, tram, or taxi to your hotel in Geneva.

I did that tour last year and made my shuttle reservation the day before I left Chamonix. The office was just up the street from the RS tour hotel.
As I remember I was dropped off at the airport and then just caught the hotel shuttle to my hotel which was by the airport. I think I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Plus they took me back to the airport for my early AM flight to Amsterdam.
