Hello! We are planning a one day/one night visit to Annecy, FR, after our RS tour ends in Chamonix (on a Friday). What is the best way to get to Annecy from Chamonix (taxi vs. train)? Hotel recommendation in Annecy?
What is the best way to get to Geneva from Annecy for an early morning flight - taxi??

We enjoyed the Hotel des Alpes in Annecy in 2010, still gets 4* on TripAdvisor. Bahn.de is a good site to check for trains between Chamonix and Annecy. For an early morning flight out of Geneva, I would consider a taxi or private driver.

I'd recommend Hotel Alexandra. It's reasonably priced and centrally located. And for what it's worth, it's ranked No. 1 on Trip Advisor. As to Annecy to Geneva Airport, we've taken the bus several times, but I don't know if the schedule will work for you. There are a couple of early morning buses (4:30 and 6:10), but it looks like they don't run on weekends.
