Hi Friends
We are traveling to Chamonix the first week in May. Since it looks the Le Panoramic will be closed, I'd like recommendations for other restaurants with a view (breakfast, lunch or dinner). I realize there is one at the top of the Aiguille du Midi--but do you know of others to recommend?

I would not recommend the restaurant at the top of Aiguille du Midi due to the elevation. It can make you feel queasy.
La Bergerie de Planpraz would be an acceptable substitute for the Panoramic if you plan to head up the Brevent. It is at the mid-station but still has some very good views towards the Mt Blanc range.
