Last September, we stayed and ate at Aiguille du Midi Hotel which is on the edge of Chamonix and has lovely views of Mont Blanc. The food was excellent.

Ann,

I enjoyed several good meals at a restaurant called Le Carlina, which is right in the main pedestrian area in the centre of town. It's apparently now known as Restaurant Josephine - https://www.chamonix.net/english/generic/Restaurant-Josephine/5990 . Hopefully the quality is still the same. Here's another website that describes the restaurant - https://www.planetchamonix.com/restaurant-josephine-fine-authentic-french-dining/ .

If you decide to dine there, it would be great if you could post a few comments here.

Hi Ann, we enjoyed a lovely Swiss-French dinner at La Caleche. I’d go back in a minute! Have fun!

Ann,

My daughter and I enjoyed a couple of delicious dinners at “Le Caveau”. This is a very unique pizzeria/ restaurant because it’s in a real cave!

Google it so you can get an idea.
It’s a bit difficult to find because its sign is at the level of the sidewalk, then you have to go down the stairs into the “cave”

If you’re in the mood for a good burger and fries then head over to MBC (Micro-Brasserie de Chamonix)

Both of these places were recommended by the airport shuttle driver and they were great!

Enjoy your trip!
