Chamonix-Aiguille du Midi-Helbronner Point

I am currently planning a trip for next July and plan to visit Chamonix. I am bit confused with the websites for Aiguille du Midi & Helbronner Point as to how much tickets costs and what they cover. I see one on the Mont Blanc Natural Resort site that is 62 Euros for a Day Pass. It states "3 Places to visit" & "5 Exceptional Areas" *& "Many More". Does anyone have any idea what this means - what gandola, lifts, trains, trams etc. are covered? My goal is to go from Chamonix to Aiguille du Midi to Helbronner Point and back as Steves did in one of his videos. P.S. I did read what he has in his France book which indicates a total of 84 Euros, but I am trying to translate that info into these passes I see online. I also plan to visit Mer de Glace. Maybe this is part of the pass too. Thanks for any help in clarifying.

Mkelley,
Check this website, Chamonix.com for timetables and prices.

When we were there last May, we purchased the day pass to the Aiguille du Midi (now €60 round trip), and this pass included the
train to Montenvers which takes you to the Mer de Glace glacier. The ice cave and cable cars to the glacier were closed when we were there so I can't give you any info on such)

I don't have RS newest France book, but looking at the websites given here, it looks like things may have changed and you may need to buy a separate ticket to go on the cogwheel train to Montenvers.

We didn't go to point Helbronner either (closed in May) but you can take the cable car from Aiguille du Midi for €89 pp (adult) round trip (Chamonix to Aiguille du Midi to Helbronner and back to Chamonix).

When you visit Aiguille du Midi, do consider going on the "step into the void" for spectacular views!

Enjoy your time in France!

Edited to add...
If you're not sure you want to go to Point Helbronner, you can buy a round trip ticket once you reach Aiguille du Midi, for an additional €29pp.
