Hello fellow travelers. I am flying into CGD on a Friday, arriving at 0905. I was thinking about buying my train tickets for 1306 giving myself 4 hours to get through security and getting to the station. I understand that security can sometimes take a long time to get through and there isn't a set time. Do you think this is enough time or should I take a later train? Thank you.

In general I'd advise to allow 2.5-3 hours after a CDG landing to catch a train at CDG and 4 hours to catch one at Montparnasse. So you're good. Immigration (not security) can be slow sometimes, but not that slow.

If you go on the SNCF website to book tickets, note that it is CDG (for Charles de Gaul), not CGD. I use his name to help me remember the correct abbreviation,
