I have seen conflicting information on the closure of Center Pompidou. Is it/will it be closed during the last weeks of August? If so, has any of the art been moved to another location? Thank you!

The temporary exhibition will still be open, if it interests you, but the permanent collection is already closed and has not been relocated.
The Musée d'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris is a suitable alternative, and the permanent collections are free.

There's a small exhibition of items from the Pompidou at the Tripostal museum in Lille right now. It's called Pom Pom Pidou.
