Any experience with Sprint's international plans while traveling in the US. I understand their rates are higher than TMobile and AT&T. I just don't want to get caught with bad service but don't know what my other options are. This is primarily for map navigation and texting, I don't expect to do much calling.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you referring to using Sprint phones while travelling in Europe? You'll first have to ensure that your phone has GSM capabilities and can be used in Europe. Unless the phone is unlocked, you're stuck with using Sprint service, so your best bet would be to check with them to get definite information on what your costs would be, mostly for data roaming.
