cell phone sim cards

we arrive at CDG terminal 3 at 8.30 am. First thing we want to do is get sim cards for our phones. Is there a retail outlet selling sim cards in terminal 3? if so where are they located and is there a supplier that is recommended . we have used Tim cards in Italy and were happy with their service

Robert,

I don't know whether there are mobile phone stores in Terminal 3, or whether they're inside or outside the security areas. Rather than having to wander about a large airport looking for SIM cards, you might consider waiting until you get to Paris (or whatever your destination is) as shops will be much more easily available.

Another option would be to use a SIM from one of the travel phone firms, as that would provide you with working phones as soon as you step off the plane.

Relay shops at CDG may carry SIM cards. I simply walked into the first tabac I came to in Paris and bought a 5€ Lebara SIM and a 10€ top up card. Back at the apartment I followed the directions to reach an English speaking tech and activated the card. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes.
