CDG - UK me USA wife

Traveling to Europe going thru CDG. Understand there r 2 passport que lines at CDG and the EU etc line is faster than the USA line.
1. Is the UK passport still accepted in the EU line ?
2. Can wife (USA) go with me thru the EU line ?

1) Yes, UK passports are accepted in the EU/EEA queues throughout the EU/EEA, at least until Brexit actually happens (if, when, how, . . . ☺)

2) No, your non-EU wife has to go through the (usually slower) non-EU queue, and meet you at the other side.

Your check will be quick, as you have a right to enter the EU, they only check the passport is valid (not fake, out-of-date), and that you look like your photo. Her checks may be more (how long are you staying? Do you have enough money?).
It's just my personal opinion, I have no experience of this, but it might help if she has a copy of your passport on her. It would explain why she is alone.

BTW, at least until brexit, you can move to any EU country to live and work, and she can accompany you. You would have to do some bureaucratic paperwork though.

Hi keating -- as long as the UK is still part of the EU (when is your trip?) you are entitled to use the EU/EEA/CH passport control line.

As for your wife, I have read that non-EU-citizen spouses and other close family members are entitled to use the EU line when traveling with their EU-citizen spouse, but it's safer to take the more conservative route since you never know when you'll encounter a difficult border agent.

The two queues at CDG are (1) EU/EEA/CH passports and (2) all passports, so you and your wife can both go through the "all passports" queue (though of course EU citizens normally opt for the first queue because lines are normally shorter), which I would suggest since you would have to wait for her anyway.

My Swiss son-in-law was yelled at in Atlanta passport control because he went through the foreign line while his American wife went through the USA line. According to tsa employees they were supposed to stay together in the USA line. Maybe it’s the same in EU?

My wife and I have been told by immigration in UK, Germany, and France that I (US passport) can go through the EU line with my wife (UK passport). We have always done it this way when entering Europe and it's never been an issue.
