Hello. I have a February flight coming up where I need to transfer from 2E (Delta) to 2B. Has anyone done this recently? About how much time do I need? Any advice? I guess this would be nonschenden (sp?) to nonschenden.
Thanks
Paul
Here is a guide that will help you but generally, transferring from 2E to 2B is relatively easy and quick on foot. But it's always best to have enough time in case of delays and so on. I would optimally hope to have at least a 90 minute layover, but you can usually do it in much less time. https://easycdg.com/airport-guide/travel-between-terminals-move-around-paris-cdg-airport/on-foot-terminal-2/
FYI, it's spelled Schengen. 😊
If you are traveling on a single ticket (one PNR) to your final destination, follow the instructions given by the arrival staff. Specifically, follow the signs Correspondance.
If you are attempting to self connect through CDG and have checked luggage, you will need to collect your luggage, pass immigration, proceed to check in for the outbound flight, check in your luggage, then back through immigration and security. Allow 4 to 6 hours.
If you are attempting to self connect through CDG with no checked luggage, ask airport staff if you can remain air side and proceed to the outbound gate. Otherwise, you will follow the procedure above, omit the luggage references. Allow 4 hours.
Thanks, Tocard. But I will be checked in for the connecting flight and have no luggage. It seems I should be able to follow the usual procedure?
