CDG to Versaille

We are going to be arriving at Charles de Gaulle and then travelling out to Versaille. We will be staying near Versaille. There are going to be 10 of us and we're trying to figure the best way to get out there. Quicker would be best so it seems if we could find a shuttle or mini bus or driving company or something that could fit us all that would be a little more expensive but easier then public transportation hauling our luggage and all. Does anyone have recommendations for companies that run shuttles from the airport out there at a reasonable rate? We arrive midday midweek in the beginning of July.

10 is a difficult number; too big for small operators which are typically limited to 8, yet somewhat small for bus operators which typically start at 15. The only company I might suggest is Missions-Transport. If they cannot help you, they can direct you to a company which can.

If you were to take taxis, you would only need two.

I'd get two taxis (taxis take up to 7 passengers). The cost will depend on the time of day and traffic -- note that you pay an extra 4 Euro for every passenger over 4 in a cab -- so with 5 in a cab, you would pay the meter plus 4. You might call a company like shuttleinter and see what kind of price they would offer for ten to Versailles; I don't know if they have vehicles that take 10 but it would be worth your while to check out.
