Hello, traveling with 4 people including 2 teenagers trying to figure out the best way to get to Paris (Opera) from the airport. Summer flight arrives at 10:30 in the morning on a weekday. Taxi, train or bus?
RoissyBus worked well for us but with 4 of you a taxi might cost less or right around the same, and get you there a bit quicker.

For 4 people a taxi is the way to go. Just be sure to get a taxi from the Official Taxi stand at the airport!
Do you mean the area near the Palais Garnier or near the Bastille opera house? That matters for public transportation but I am of the "take a taxi" school of thought. It's a flat rate of 55€ for the trip to either area. The only way I would take mass transit with a group of four is if we were buying a week-long Navigo pass and even then I would still probably take a taxi for the convenience. The train is 11.45€ per person for your group, so a bit of savings over taxi and the Roissy bus is 16.20€ per person so it costs more than a taxi would for your group.
Nice thing about a taxi is the drop off at where you need to be. No RER/Metro changes or walking a few blocks with you luggage. You can make it easy for the driver & yourself and have the address written out for them, unless you speak French.
Enjoy your trip.
Thanks everyone! I do speak French so it sounds like taxi is the way to go! :)
