Does anyone know how to get to ORlY airport from CDG cheaply and how long it takes.

Cheaply = by RER B to Antony followed by Orlyval. Still costs €21.50...
It takes 90 minutes if all goes well, but you should allow for 2 hours, and you should not book an Orly departure less than 6 hours after a CDG overseas arrival, to take delays and immigration lines into account. 5 hours is doable in a pinch, if coming from Schengen area or if you have an EU passport.
It is a hassle, though...is there any routing that could avoid this ordeal?

How much and how long for a taxi? Tossup for more than one person?

No, not a tossup, a taxi will be 70-100€ depending on traffic, and can take anything from 40 to 120 minutes depending on time of day and luck. It is a VERY awkward transfer, not quite as bad as, say, JFK to Newark but it comes close.

Thank you. I guess I will stay in Paris for the night or maybe 2. Then spend more time in France after Italy. Tlhen the problem with covid testing. It may be too long from my test before I leave the US. I hope the change their rules by then.
