CDG to Hotel transfer WITH booster seat

Does anyone have experience with getting from CDG to Paris (right bank) with an 8 year old? We will use metro to get around Paris and then join a group tour that will have a booster seat for her but I'm not sure about airport transfer. We were looking at Welcome Pickups but reviews are very mixed. We will be coming off a red eye so I was hoping to have a ride pre-booked for arrival. Taxi sounds the easiest and cheapest but my understanding is that they won't have a booster seat option.

Only Taxis are exempt from child seat requirements. Any other option will require your 8 year old be in a special seat.

Yes, and I'm not comfortable with the exemption as it doesn't make the travel any safer for her. We want her in a booster seat.

Try Shuttle Inter. You can arrange for a vehicle with a booster with them. Another option: bring a travel (foldable) booster seat like the ones by Mifold and take a regular taxi. And the good news about the foldable seat is that you will have it with you for unexpected taxi rides in Paris or elsewhere.

I do actually have a MiFold that we could take, but was hoping not to as we are travelling as light as possible. We know we don't need it for the 7 days after our Paris time as we will be on a group tour where they are supplying, and then we are at Disneyland for a few days before flying home to Canada. But I'm wondering if we should bring it for the just in case.

G7 has van taxis with car seats that can be ordered. Usually you don't order taxis but with special needs you can. You can also get an inflatable travel booster for use with regular car seat belts that is handy when you need to take cabs.

How tall is she? If she's around or taller than 135 cm, I would not worry too much - many countries only mandate boosters up to that height.

Have you asked your tour company for a recommendation? They probably have good contacts.

She's still under that height so I'm not wanting to risk it safety wise.

Our tour company included the airport transfer but if you arrived early you needed to use their starting hotel and it was very expensive so we are staying elsewhere. So we need to manage our own transport.
