CDG to Gare St. lazare to Bayeux

Ok, I think I have this scenario correct, but please check this for me.
CDG to Gare Du Nord - RER B, cost 10 Euro
Switch over to RER E from Gare Du Nord to Gare St. Lazare, use same ticket, no extra cost.

Land around 9am at CDG, make the 12:08 from St. Lazare to Bayeux? Is this possible.

Thank you

When I looked at it, I would say it is tight. Figure basically an hour to an hour and a half just to take the RER, including some risk for waiting for the next train, time to walk from RER station to Station, etc.

That leaves an Hour and a half to get out of CDG, most would say that is optimistic, I have done it in much less, but I have had an hour and a half just in Immigration as well.

Maybe compare the cost of a full price train ticket vs buying when you get there, consider the added cost insurance. I do not think that those trains are likely to sell out.

You could maybe trim off some time by taking a Cab from the Airport, at least it would be direct, for 50 euro, so not much more expensive for two.

only do it this tight if you have the cheap 15 Euro train tickets bought early; otherwise make it 4 hours for cushion or buy them the day of.

It's possible but could be risky as described above. Do you have to make that particular train? My understanding is that walk-up tickets from St-Lazare to Bayeux won't cost much more than advance purchases, and trains are frequent. So it might be worthwhile not to commit to a particular train, just get there as soon as you can and take the next train.

A taxi from CDG to St-Lazare will cost 50 euros, more than the RER but a lot easier with luggage, and maybe faster too.

I prefer to take the RoissyBus (I usually travel alone). 12€/pp, and it leave directly outside of departures. and drops you off on the West side of Opera Garnier—a 7 to 9 minute walk to Gare Saint Lazare. Of course, if you have four people, you are damn near the price of a taxi that will bring you right to the station.

I took the route PharmerPhil suggested and it worked so well. No need to deal with the stairs and crowds at Gare du Nord which is no5 fun especially with luggage.
