I am trying to figure out how to get to Amiens from CDG on Dec 30th, its on a Sunday. Trains seem limited and car rentals appear to be booked. Looking at buses possibly. Any tips, suggestions or other ideas. Thank you all.

You should do fine by taking the RER B into Paris Gare du Nord, and then getting a train to Amiens from there. Most times when taking the train into Paris you have to switch stations, and you won't even have to do that.
Looks like you have the option for a train departing Gare du Nord at 13:3, arriving into Amiens at 14:49, would that work given your arrival time into CDG?
There are buses (Flixbus) at 13:00 and 17:30, but they leave from La Defense and wouldn't be as convenient as the train from Gare du Nord.
