CDG to 15ARR Paris Train or Taxi

Hi Everyone,
We'll be arriving a couple of days early in Paris for a RS 14 day tour in late June. We've seen directions for train/metro transportation between CDG and where our hotel is in 15. (RERB and 2 transfers to Convention.) We have a family of four. Wondering about ease of cab or other prearranged pickup as opposed to public transport transfers and luggage roll. Any ideas on what cab fare would be on a Saturday morning? Thanks so much!

Recently I paid taxi fare of about 55 euro from CDG to the Latin Quarter, during the week in the middle of the day.

It would be 40 Euro by train and you would be schlepping luggage up and down stairs at each transfer and on arrival. And of course you would be great pickpocket targets with all your valuables obviously with you.

A taxi is the only sensible choice for a group of 4. You will pay 3 Euro extra for the 4th passenger and one Euro per bag in the trunk. Those fees are put on at the end of the ride onto the metered fare. I would guess you would pay about 60 give or take 5 for this trip with 4 of you and 4 bags.

Thanks for the responses. There are times when its good for young travelers(teenagers) to see what its like to navigate a strange city. This time, however, I believe I will rent the cab and skip the transfers from CDG. Looking forward to a great 14 day trip with RS Tours!
