If I fly into CDG from Bordeaux on Air France and have 3-1/2 hours to get to Norwegian Air for flight to the US, will that work? Not sure of the respective terminals.
Would I stay within in the secure area?

If this is two tickets and not a through flight, it is foolhardy. You need 3 hours from being at line in check in till your flight. The problem with 3.5 hours is that any delay and delays are frequent in flying might mean you would miss the second flight -- it is not a connection but a new flight. Always be in the town of departure the night before for a high stakes flight where missing would mean a couple of thousand for a walk up ticket home.

Thanks. Good advice, guess we will come to the CDG area the night before.
Looks like there are several reasonable hotels with shuttles nearby.

We like to get a hotel AT not NEAR the airport - that way you just hop on the intra airport train and don't have to worry about shuttles being full or delayed or whatever.
