Hi,
We have a Air France flight in October, arriving from Rome into Terminal 2F @ 22:30 & depart on Air France the next day from Terminal 2E @ 10:10. I've looked at the Easycdg.com site but find it confusing - different types of shuttles, CDGVal etc. We want to be close to Terminal 2 with easy transit, under $225 (hopefully) with 2 beds.
Recommendations gratefully accepted and thank you in advance.

There is a Sheraton in terminal 2. Otherwise, any of the hotels located on the CDGVal rail line, such as those at Roissypôle, are no more than 10 to 15 minutes from any check in desk. I would avoid any hotel not actually at CDG, those requiring your using a shuttle bus or taxi for example.

We just stayed at the Sheraton at CDG on both sides of our trip. It can’t get any more convenient particularly with your late arrival the night before. It can be pricey and I also kept checking rates and was able to grab a cheaper rate. I have also stayed at the Marriott - their shuttle coming back to the airport was efficient - seems it took forever for it to show up to get us from the airport to the hotel after a late train arrival.

Sheraton is, of course, the most convenient since it is in Terminal 2. But it is pricey. I have stayed at both the Novotel and Citizen M which are located right at the CDGVAL station at Terminal 3. It was very easy to get to Terminal 2 on the CDGVAL from there. There are several other hotels in the same location: Hilton, Pullman, Ibis (there are several Ibis hotels near CDG so choose the right one).
