CDG Exit Time

We will be arriving at CDG on 11:25 am on Friday July 8th. We will be leaving the US with a connection in Munich prior to our CDG arrival. Considering time of day and season, how long does it typically take to get out of the airport - with checked luggage? Scheduling an airport transfer and train tickets to Blois and want to give us enough time to make it, but also do not want to end up sitting at the train station longer than we need.

Ok, so with an hour estimate to travel from CDG to train station - I should look at trains leaving 3 hours after departure - 2:30 and later..

Since you will be going through immigration in Munich, your time out of CDG should not be that bad, simply deplaning and heading to the arrivals hall, maybe a bit more if you have checked bags, maybe 30 minutes at the most?

If you want a private transfer prearranged, then likely they just would like to know your flight information and scheduled time, they will be waiting when you exit security.

As for time to Austerlitz Station, that is dependent on traffic, but the transfer company should be able to give you a rough estimate, should be 30-50 minutes though.

You might consider springing for a changeable ticket, allowing you to catch an earlier, or in the case of delays, a later train.

Transport companies are not always on time or waiting for you. Sometimes they don't show at all. And they can't take the reserved fast lanes. Just get in the official cab line and take a fixed-rate taxi. Don't accept any of the solicitors hanging around, but follow the signs for taxis.
There are always cabs available.

So....

With going through passport control in Munich, having checked bags, and using a taxi in front - would two hours give me enough time? Total

Flight lands at 11:25 - possible to make a train at 1:26? The next train available will leave me with a 50 minute delay at St. Pierre des Corps before going on to Blois.

We do not have a certain time to be in Blois, but will need to allow ourselves time to check in and meet the bike company to get our bikes and such. We may consider splurging on a taxi from St Pierre des Corps to Blois if we do take the later train. Just to cut down on our total travel time. Might ease the stress just to go ahead and book a later one.

Saving myself for a nice dinner in Blois. :) We'll be at 24 hour travel time by this point, so forking over cash to arrive at our hotel an hour earlier doesn't seem too bad. We'll see! Of course who knows if there is a plane delay - trying to view all angles at this point. We'll be biking for the next five days, so some extra downtime at the hotel before we head out sounds nice.

I see you mention connections in Saint Pierre des Corps, but you should really aim for a train to Blois from Austerlitz, sometimes via Orléans but several direct per day, rather than one via Saint Pierre des Corps. It will be cheaper and more comfortable.

I'm basing by the schedules I saw online not trying to go through that train station specifically - that specific route had a time that was reasonable after I land (3 hours) and put us not getting to Blois terribly late.
