We will be leaving CDG 10:10AM on Thurs. April 21. I am planing on arriving at the airport 3 hours before departure. Is this enough time? We will be taking line B from Saint Michel about 6:15 sound good? We will be in Paris all day on the 20th and plan to covid test at a pharmacy or lab. Thanks Brad
It should be sufficient time, but be sure to check the operational status of the RER B line before you attempt to use it. There can be outages and unforeseen delays:
Tocard is right — another source for checking RER B status is to use the CityMapper app and check the RER B status.
There is nightly engineering work throughout April on Line B to CDG. Normally this does not affect the morning trains BUT every once in a while, they are unable to clear the construction areas in time and some disruptions ensue in the early morning. The risk is low, but I second everybody's suggestion to check!
And don't worry: if there is an issue, getting a cab at 6.15 AM is very easy, and there is no traffic at that time of the day (except on the airport access road sometimes).
How many of you are there? You might pay a bit more for a cab but departure day it's always worth it to me. Have hotel call to reserve and you know they'll be there on time and no stress.
