CDG Connection- Switching Airlines but no checked bags?

Hi- my husband and I are flying JetBlue from JFK to CDG, landing in CDG at 6:55AM in terminal 2B. Our connecting flight to Naples is on EasyJet, departing from 2D at 10AM.

We do not have checked bags and these are separate tickets of course. We are already checked in online for the EasyJet flight so I don't think we need to check-in at desk.

Will this be enough time to make the connection? The CDG website makes it sound like we will need to exit to baggage claim and then re-enter airport, but we don't have bags. Could we not use the connection path to move through the airport? (The website implies that you can only use this if your booking is on one ticket).

Advice appreciated!

Yes, we did purchase a carryon with our EasyJet ticket. I'm still wondering if we will be able to follow the connection path and if this will be enough time.

That's enough time when the first flight arrives at 6:55am. I am uncertain but I would count on having to re-enter as everytime I have had separate tickets on a flight arriving from USA I had to go through security again or re-enter.

You are supposed to use the connection path only if you have two separate tickets. The official website is clear that you are to exit. I know people who have made the transfer using the integrated transfer when they had separate connections and they said that they flashed their boarding pass for the ongoing flight. I hope that someone on the forum who has done it will see your question and answer. I think you should book a later flight to Naples because you will have to go through passport control and you are only giving yourself 2.5 hours between when the EasyJet gate closes and your ETA on a flight from JFK.
Edit: One more thing: don't forget to make sure that your carryon bag will meet EasyJet's specifications. They may differ from JetBlue's.

I would doubt seriously that is enough time. You might get lucky though.

I am pretty sure you are going to have to exit the secure area of 2B to get over to 2D.

The terminology for this is certainly not "connecting" flights. You have two different flights on two different airlines.

(Not to mention you have no idea if your flight from NY will truly land at 6:55. That is when it is scheduled to land.)

Definitely not connecting flights, and with no guarantee that your JetBlue flight will arrive on schedule, just over 3 hours ground time would not be sufficient for me. It would be very helpful if you are allowed to use connecting immigration/security as it moves much faster than do the lines used by originating passengers. You should definitely ask upon your arrival.

Looking at flightaware for the past couple of weeks, it looks like being 10-20 minutes early or 10-20 minutes late have an equal chance of being true. One day the fight was 90 minutes late.

When the flight will arrive is the wild card that is unpredictable.

Advice appreciated!

Buy the Costco size Tums bottle or change to a later flight. :-)
