CDG airport to train station St Lazare

We are 2 couples in our 60's who are traveling from Barcelona to Giverny as part of our European adventure. We arrive in early afternoon and need to get from CDG to St Lazare with luggage. We would prefer not to have to take the RER into Paris and then the metro if possible because of having luggage and carry ons to carry up and down steps. We were hoping for suggestions as to a reliable taxi or car service from the airport directly to St Lazare station. Thanks.

Just go out to the official taxi line and take a taxi. Taxis in the line are reliable and there is no need to arrange a car service.

General opinion on this board is that in Paris the pre-booked car services are unreliable and it's much better to take a cab from the airport rank.

Depending on how much luggage you have and how mobile and confident you are, there is a cheaper alternative route to St Lazare without major changes of height. This is to take the express "Roissybus" bus service from the airport to the Paris Opera House. The Opera is within a short walk of St Lazare station. However, the buses on this route are ordinary city buses without separate luggage accomodation, so you will have to keep your luggage by you during the trip.
