3 of us with carry-on luggage only will be staying in the 9th arrondissement on Rue Notre Dame de Lorette. What is the best way to get from Charles DeGaulle airport to our hotel. Any ideas about cost?
A taxi for up to four people with their luggage is a fixed rate. Left bank 65 euro, right bank 56 euro. Divided by three not a bad price for the comfort of going right to the hotel. I wouldn't want to be dealing with public transport after a flight from the states with luggage in tow and a possible walk to the hotel from the RER stop. Only go to the official taxi line. Do not pay any attention to someone who approaches you on the way there. Even if the line there seems long, it moves at a good clip.
I believe the RS guidebook (and others) cover this. There are also many forum entries on this as well.
Thank you - that is what I will do!

So for the three of you, 56€ since you are three people going to Right Bank.
Hello. Wondering if anyone else will be arriving in Paris from Washington DC Sunday, May 10. my intention is to grab a taxi from the airport to the train station. Happy to share the adventure with someone else.
Which train station? If it is Gare du Nord, just get the RER B for 14 Euro (plus cost of 2 Euro Easy card if you don't have one). If another station, well which station; there are many in Paris which cover different parts of the country and continent.
