Has anyone been here? It's listed in a Lonely Planet guide. I'd like to do one wine tasting from our base in Amboise (we'll also be in Loches, Chenonceau, and then Blois on our way back to Paris). We'll have an eight-year-old with us and this sounds like it might be entertaining. Thanks for any other suggestions.

A disclaimer: it's probably 10 years since I last visited.
We found Caves Monmousseau a bit hit and miss. It all depends on what's happening with the winemaking at the time, and who leads the tour. It's a very large winemaker by Loire Valley standards, but they don't grown their own grapes.
