Checking to see if water temperatures in the Med would be warm enough for swimming in the Calanques or port beaches

I certainly would, but it depends on what you are used to!

Most years the water is still warm, but sometimes not if it has been windy

I also would certainly try, as I tend to swim in various shallow or sheltered beaches of the Med almost every October. It was September the last time that I was at Cassis and the Calenques were idyllic.
