Excursion info says we must walk from the bus parking area "1/2 mile up and down a road to board the petite train in Cassis." How steep is this road into Cassis? Concerned about the hike back up in July heat!

Well, there are some steep roads in Cassis, but the one leading to the large car and bus park above town isn't that bad, so I wouldn't worry. Also, I'm pretty sure the petit train goes right up to that car park, so the 1/2 mile estimate looks like an exaggeration. But maybe you can ask the company directly?
