Carnavalet Museum, Paris---how to obtain reserved tickets for free admission?

We know that the Free entrance portion of the museum is free.
But we read that we need to reserve tickets for a specific entry day and time.
How do we do that?
I cannot find a link for reserving tickets on their website......https://www.carnavalet.paris.fr/en/visit/plan-your-visit

Thanks very much

Early on after they reopened in 2021 they were doing timed entries and I think they still do them for special exhibitions, otherwise you can just go without a time. Do you remember where you read about needing timed entries?

Do note they are closed on Mondays as are most (if not all?) the Museums of Paris.

editing to add: I went to the home page for the Museums of Paris and found this link to get the free ticket to the exhibition that is opening the end of March at Carnavalet. It does need a timed entry but the rest of the museum does not. Very weird that there is no link from the Carnavalet website (that I can find).

Last time we went to the Carnavalet a couple years ago they did require timed tickets and had time slot lines in the central courtyard.

In January with a Paris Museum Pass you couldn't reserve a timed entry and didn't need it. We showed up shortly after they opened and entered without a line. I noticed a couple of parties buying tickets, but not even a line there.

For what it's worth, I was there on February 19, 2023 and walked right in about 12:30 with no reservation and no ticket.

To the Permanent Exhibits museum yes, you just walk right in.
