I tried to post this before, but did not see it show up. My apologies is this is a repeat. My wife and I and our 20-year-old grandniece will be making a car trip from Lyon in late April, planning to wind up 9 days later in Bordeaux. I would like to see some "les plus beaux villages" along the way, and would like to avoid freeways. Nice scenery along the way would be a plus. If anyone has a recommendation of a route, I would appreciate it. Also, any recommendations for gites or B&B's would be appreciated. Thanks. Peter Dodd
