Car Service from Paris to Normandy

Our group of 4 would like to find a good car service from Paris (picking us up at Gare du Nord train station) to Normandy (likely staying in Bayeux). We will be there in mid January 2026. Has anyone used a reliable car service to make this trip recently?

Tremendous cost compared to the reasonably priced frequent service from Paris to Caen and Bayeux.

I know that this is not what you are asking, but I want to share an alternative that might actually work a bit better.
Take a taxi from Gare du Nord to Gare Saint-Lazare, Then, take the train from Gare Saint-Lazare to Bayeux. It is about 2 hours by train.

You may have special reasons for thinking that a private driver is necessary and I respect that, but most people would take the train and I am not sure you will find many driver recommendations.

To get a rough idea, I looked at Daytrip for a morning drive to Bayeux. 4 people with one bag each, no stops, est drive time 3 hours- €600

A morning train on the same day from Gare St Lazare (take the RER, Metro, or taxi between stations), 2 - 2 1/2 hrs, would be under €100 for the 4 of you.

I have taken the trains from London to Bayeux, and I agree that is the best and most affordable way to travel between the two places. However, I am traveling with a friend who is having mobility issues, and we are concerned about her ability to change trains so much. I would like recommendations for a reputable car service, even if it's expensive.

I can't comment on reliability but MyDriverParis is one such service. It's not going to be inexpensive -- between 800 and 900 € for a vehicle large enough to transport 4 passengers with luggage.

There are trains that go from Saint-Lazare to Bayeux without transferring to another train. It would seem the simplest and least-cost thing to do would be to take a taxi from Gare du Nord to Saint-Lazare and catch a train with no transfers to Bayeux. With certain tickets you should be able to specify a first level seat for your friend who has mobility challenges.

Assuming you are departing from London, and if you haven't purchased Eurostar tickets already, if the dates & times work (the flight isn't daily), you could take the Easyjet flight from Gatwick to Rennes, from where a 2-hour transfer to Bayeux should cost less than 400€ according to daytrip. It is about 1 hour and 80 km closer than Gare du Nord to Bayeux.

Lots of "ifs" for sure.

I have inquired about the cost of transportation between Paris and Bayeux. BT Transfer is about 200 euros less than My Driver Paris, though BTtransfer does require us to pay up front for pickup from Gare du Nord. I am looking for confirmation that BT Transfer is reputable and will be a safe transfer between these two cities as it is much more affordable.

If your friend is having mobility issues that should not keep you from traveling by train. The railways are by law obliged to make travel possible for people with reduced mobility.

Anyway, From Gare Du Nord to saint Lazare is on the new RER E, which means modern stations, with elevators and escalators. Then in st. Lazare there are direct trains to Caen, and those trains are modern, with low floor access. Someone in a wheelchair for example would not encounter many obstacles.
