I do not know the "best" company. I highly recommend you take the rental company's insurance w/0% liability to you. Should there be an incident as small as a scratch, you will relieve yourself of a stress you do not need on vacation.
My husband & I were involved in an accident on a trip to
England. As I went over the crest of a hill I found a car in my lane passing another car. I swerved & side swiped a park car. It was the best money we spent on the trip.
Our rental car agency was Avis.
