Car Rental Return Nantes

Hi there,

I am reaching out to see if anyone has returned a car in Nantes and hopped on the train to CDG? We are renting a car in Rennes and driving through a bit of France and returning to Nantes.... Do you think returning car in Nantes is easier than driving to the airport to return? My thought is YES. Any info on car rentals at either Rennes or Nantes would be HUGELY appreciated. I am nervous that it will be tricky. I was looking at AutoEurope or Enterprise... or Sixt. Any thoughts or experience? Always grateful!

I have not dropped a car at that train station. When I drove into Nantes last year to visit Les Machines de l'Ile, there was city traffic and various exits to navigate, but I had no trouble by simply following the instructions of the GPS that happened to be built into the rental car. Hopefully, Google Maps would work equally well for your navigator if your car doesn't have that feature.

P.S. There are lane markings and cars tend stay within them, unlike parts of Florence and Rome. No 12-exit round-about like around Paris' Arc de Triomphe.
