Car rental return in the Loire Valley

Which company were you renting from that you had that problem? Or were you returning it when the office was closed? Can't say we've had that problem at the St Pierre Des Corps station.

Europcar was the rental car company.

Maybe try Sixt or Hertz next time ( opposite side if the building from Europcar.)

I think they all share the same lot. We had a similar issue returning, but a nice gentleman from another agency got us parked in a not-quite-a-spot spot. The people at the EuropCar counter did not care a bit. They were very laissez-faire overall, no complaints with them.

You may be having an issue with return time. I think my rental was with Hertz but I found choices everywhere. The biggest thing I ran into was timing. Virtually all of the places close for lunch so the hours are something like 8 to noon, then 2 to six. If you search outside those hours, your search is likely to eliminate all the closed places.

I should have qualified my question better. The date and time were never the issue. It was finding a place to drop off the car and there weren’t any areas to do so unlike other train and airport locations. That is why I’d like a recommendation for another user friendly drop off rental car location at a train station in the Loire region.
