As my wife and I are narrowing down our itinerary, I need to know if
we can rent a car in St. Malo and if there is sufficient parking within the
town's borders. Do hotels there have their own parking lots. Thank you!

I parked just outside the wall close to where the museum is located. I was above ground but there is an entrance there to below ground parking also.

EuropCar has an office in Saint Malo at 12 Rue Anita Conti. If you go to any major hotel booking site, you can usually filter hotels that offer parking - either on-site or at nearby garages. Normally in cities the parking fee is in addition to your room charge. And often they have arrangements with garages that are less than the normal posted charge. Parking in European cities can be an expensive affair.
