Looking to rent a car in Aix en Provence 27jul2019-31jul2019; how does one do that?
Many people on this forum rent through autoeurope.com and recommend them highly.
Whether you end up renting through them or through the actual car rental company, It’s a good first step. Their website will give you an overview of what’s available and pricing from a number of rental companies... and a map showing where their offices are located in Aix en Provence.
Many car rental offices are located at Aix TGV Station which is 10 miles away, there is a frequent shuttle só it's not a big deal, and it might be that the TGV location is more convenient for you depending on how you arrive / leave.
I've booked my hertz car from expedia.com. There are many options. Give it a try.
We've booked directly through Hertz and Europcar, as well as Autoeurope. Just remember to have the exact credit card in which you've booked it with you. If the rez is in your name, make sure you have the card in your name. If in your spouse name, have the card with his/her name. There's always someone that speaks pretty good English. And if they want to give you an "upgrade" to a bigger car, don't do it. It may not be a big car by US standards, but a bigger car in Europe is much harder to park just about everywhere.
