We are traveling by train from Paris to Geneva and need to rent a car in Geneva to drive to the French Alps. Can we take a taxi from the train station in Geneva and get to the French side of the airport to rent a car? I'm hearing that only air travelers can get to that section of the airport. Has to be at the airport because it's on a Saturday and other rental car agencies close at noon. We will not arrive until 3:45.
We need to drive to Sallanches from Geneva, stay 3 days and then return the car to Geneva and catch the train back to Paris.
