Can anyone help me with car rental off site at CDG, one that may require a shuttle or short public transportation but avoid the airport fee? Thx

I just checked Kayak. Prices start at seventeen bucks a day. Anywhere in town starts at twenty-three. It takes close to an hour and some money to get to Nord, for example, at the airport they're just out the door.
Are you maybe thinking that the airport fee is something on top of the quoted price.? Are you reading to many travel forums with bum scoop?
Something doesn't make sense.
