Does anyone know whether the canoeing companies in the Dordogne region are open early November? We are finding that some of the B&Bs close there the end of October.

I don't have personal experience trying to canoe in the Dordogne region in November--but, in general, I'd think that November is late in the season for canoeing there.
If you don't find places open during your dates, that's a clue.

As Kent mentioned, I think your chances of canoeing on the Dordogne at that time of year are "slim". The weather will probably not be conducive to that sort of activity, and it's likely that the firms operating the canoes will have their gear stored for the winter.
