Cannes

Hello! My teen daughter and I will be in Cannes for one day in July from our cruise ship. She would like to go to the beach, and while I am sure that we can figure that out once we are there, I am a planner and would like to be able to leave the ship, get straight to our destination, and maximize the day.

Any help or suggestions are very much appreciated. We have done Resort for a Day on other vacations. If something similar is available, I would be open to that. Side note - my daughter is highly allergic to peanuts and most tree nuts. I will have allergy cards printed in French to indicate this but any dining suggestions are also most welcome.

There are a number of private beach clubs (and a municipal run one), not restricted to hotels, open to the public. But an advance reservation is recommended. I don't have a specific recommendation. The stretch along La Croissette is the most famous. There are listings on the rough looking website, Riviera Beaches, that are mostly updated (the content on the pages are decent, despite the early 2000s website look). You can then lookup the name directly or use the link to the beach club's name.
