We (3 mature women) have rented a canal boat from Le Boat to cruise Brittany, from Guipry-Messac to Josselin and back. 2 of us have travelled in France extensively, 1 has never been to France. We are interested especially in history, and VERY interested in megaliths and prehistoric sites. This are of France is fairly rural, which pleases us. Does anyone have any particular recommendations of special places we should visit along our route? We will have bicycles, but we're not up to multi-kilometer trips and we expect to use taxis to go further than 2-3 kilometers.
