Only going thru Paris as a train transfer. Taking train from Paris Est. Wondering if from any street corner very close to station can you see the Eiffel Tower? Would love to see it but with limited time can not venture out.

The Eiffel Tower is almost 6 km’s away from Gare de l’Est. You won’t be able to see it from there.

It's not solely a question of distance - Belleville is 9 km from the Eiffel Tower, and you can see the tower from there. It's a question of elevation, too.
But no, you can't see the Eiffel Tower from the Gare de l'Est.
