Is it true I can bypass the line waiting to go up the Eiffel Tower if I have reservations at one of the restaurants? Does anyone have an opinion on which restaurant to choose? Price doesn't matter. Thanks!
I believe there is a separate ticket counter for those with restaurant reservations. My reservation points to a location between the North and East towers, labelled "Tickets acces restaurant", and says my lift tickets will be available 15 minutes before our reservation time.
Yes, I have done this before -- there is a booth at ground level where you check in with your restaurant reservation info, and then a small sign and lane beside the long one for the elevator.
Tip: plan on going early or staying late to appreciate the views and the exhibits; I had a seating around 8pm or 8:30 so I could enjoy the sunset beforehand and read the history posters.
I think that once you have gotten above the ground level, you can change levels freely using the stairs.
The Jules Verne is the (most) expensive one. I believe it is an Alain Ducasse operation.
To get to the tippy top, you just need to buy the ticket at that the second level and get in line for the elevator.
