I've been "practicing" buying Eiffel Tower tickets. Looks like it is a 90 prior to date that they go on sale. So, if I try to buy tickets 90 days from today I can get tickets, but it seems only 1 is available in different time slots. If I try to buy 2, then none are available. Certainly this is possible, but I've been successful in "buying" single tickets on a few days in different time slots, but never are more than one. Has anyone been successful buying more than two tickets in one transaction?

Believe it or not, I bought 79 in one shot two years ago, however, it was for February when they do not sell tickets all the way to the top, just the second level. We got to the top by waiting in line at the ticket booth at the second level and buying "to the top" tickets there. You might try the same strategy. Just get level 2 tickets and buy the supplement when you are there.

They do offer "group tickets", but that is for only 20 or more. I just need three, but don't want to buy less than that and get stuck with one or two tickets and not enough for all of us.

Susan,, I was just on the site..when are you going.. there seems to be tons of stuff available in june.. every day had openings all day long excpect for the 1-4 and 6th and th. Seems odd.

It also looks like a ton is available later into June and if you actually try to buy them then it will tell you they are not available yet. The ones less than 60 days seem to only allow 1 ticket to be sold. That is weird! I'm just testing it so I will be ready when I need them which isn't until the end of June.

The group rate is only available Mon-Fri. we were there on Sat. Like I said, check when they are available, and if you cannot get, take the 2nd level and go from there.

Yes, we prefer the top, but I'd be happy with getting the second level too, even if we didn't buy up to the top from there. But currently, I can't find two tickets to he second level either. Ill keep trying and see if it changes.
