If I arrive in CDG Terminal 2E at 8:50am on a Monday morning, coming in from Budapest, can I make a connection on the same airline in Terminal 2F for a flight to the USA leaving at 11am? My bags will be checked to the final location in Budapest so I won't have them to fuss with. I will have a printed boarding pass in hand. I believe I just have to go through a passport check/immigration. Can I make it?
Should be doable. Its a legal connection. You will be protected if something goes wrong, like a late flight. You should not have any passport check getting off the Budapest flight as France and Hungary are Schengen members. You will have to go through a passport check exiting France and get your passport stamped, and flights to the USA usually have extra security. But overall, should be OK.
Rebekah - I had a similar situation flying Air France from Florence, Italy to CDG 2E and then with a fairly brief time until my connecting flight to the USA in Terminal 2F. Air France deplaned us before other passengers, had a van waiting on the tarmac, and transported us to the next terminal where we went through the passport/immigration check. I was pretty impressed. Not sure what airline you are flying.....Anne
We are flying Air France from Budapest. The flight to the USA is a partner deal with Delta/Air France.
