Can I find a taxi at the Capdenac Train Station

This is a tiny town in SE France. I am trying to determine if it is serviced by taxis, since I do not drive. I have contacted my hotel in the next village and even the town chamber of commerce. Googling, I am sent to a taxi service at the next largest town. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you call the taxi company you have in hand, expect them charge you both ways, e.g., for their time to come 10 km from Figeac, or similar. Did the hotel specify that Capdenac is the most convenient train station? If the taxi leaves from elsewhere, then maybe it would be just as easy to train to that station.

Also, there are at least two local bus lines; see schedule links at the bottom of http://www.ter.sncf.com/midi-pyrenees/gares/87613091/Figeac/pratique. Note that "autocar" is another word for bus.

No response from my hotel as yet. Thank you for the advice about taxis from Figeac.

I can't help you with your taxi question, and this may be completely impractical without a car, but you won't be too far from Conques which is well worth a visit for its wonderful church and superb Treasury with many items from what we used to call the Dark Ages.
