Can a family of 5 fit in a taxi/uber?

Hello- We are leaving for a two week trip to France at the end of the month and am putting details in place. There were many instances where I was planning on taking a taxi and just realized that may not work as there are 5 of us? If you call ahead will they send a minivan?
Thanks so much!

At the airports minivans will be readily available and the dispatcher in the official queue will match you up. The flat fee in Paris is 50/55 to Paris (depending on the side of the river) and the 5th person is an additional 4 Euros.

For travel around town, most taxis take no more than 4 but you can order a taxi for the return airport run or perhaps just for immediate pick up from G7 (English line) and specify your numbers. It is 4 Euro to call a cab and 7 to book one ahead for pick up ( a must for morning airport run). Plus the 4 Euro for the 5th person above the metered fare.

And you can request an Uber XL which will cost more but will result in you getting a larger vehicle.

2nd using Uber XL. We were a group of 5 adults and no problems getting all of us in any of the cars that picked us up.

If you are going to the airport or train station, Uber is not allowed to pick up passengers in either place.

You would have to arrange to meet the driver somewhere off the premises, which would likely be more trouble than it's worth - especially if you have luggage to haul around.

Minivans are always available at airports, and you can either call or go online (in English) and order what you need with G7 Taxis.
G7 Taxis will send an SMS describing the model and colour of the car that will pick you up. Be outside waiting, because taxis can't block traffic.
